High Priestess Full Moon in Virgo

The Virgo Full Moon is exact on Tuesday, March 7th at 4:40 am PST / 7:40 am EST.

This Full Moon in Virgo assists in releasing what no longer serves you and can align you with the Priestess and Medicine Woman within, as Virgo is the Divine Feminine and the 'Virgin'. In this Full Moon, we are called again to illuminate Self Sovereignty. 

The word 'virgin' is derived from Virgo and originally meant 'whole unto oneself, a free woman - independent, autonomous, untied.'

  • What does it mean to be sovereign unto oneself?

  • What does it feel like to be in our full power?

At this Full Moon, we are asked to explore with a mystical lens (Pisces Sun) the ways in which we give our power away and how we can reclaim it. The moon reflects to us the importance of activating our inner discernment, wisdom, and intuition to ground our visions and dreams to Earth. This is energy of embodying your Sovereign Queen / Wise Woman / Sage / High Priestess Self.

As Virgo is ruled by Mercury, you have a profound invitation and opportunity to reclaim your Sovereign Power by speaking your Truth, communicating the unspoken, listening to the voice of your dreams, releasing toxic residue from judgement (from self or other) and following your soul calling. Step forth, Dear One, to ask for what you need, express your heart with authenticity, and celebrate the power of your emotions, wisdom, value and intuition. Now is the time to create and design your human experience from a grounded place of focused intention, service and beauty woven with mystery, the non-linear, and the magical. There is great insight and healing when we pay attention to both our dreams and the signs right in front of us!

MOON RITUAL SUGGESTIONS

  • Embrace The Heart: This can be a very intense part of the lunar cycle. Be patient with all the emotions you are feeling at this time. Breathe into them. Give them a safe resting place and a healthy funnel of expression. Be gentle with yourself.

  • Seva: Practice selfless service by doing something for someone else (maybe even a stranger) that would brighten their day.

  • Express Yourself: Whether through voice or movement, sing, speak and move from a place of your authentic heart to engage with the current expression of your own body & soul.

  • Gratitude: Now is a beautiful time to reach out and share with others what you are most grateful for about them. Gratitude can also be expressed to oneself and to the Great Mystery with reverence for all our blessings at this time.

  • Intentional Design: Take the reins of your schedule and create some order. Design or arrange your home space to represent your essence.

  • Moon Prayers: With the full moon light, write down or speak your prayers for yourself, loved ones and the planet. The full radiant moon amplifies your word.

  • Moon Priestess: Make time for quiet and stillness as the moon rises. Meditate in the full moon light and open yourself to receive intuitive guidance and support.

  • Reclaiming Sovereignty: In your journal, write down all the ways that you are currently blaming outside circumstances or people for your own discomfort or unhappiness. Take personal accountability by writing down all the choices, attitudes and actions (including non-actions) that are keeping you from living your full potential. Write down all that you are ready to release and all that you are calling forth for your present life to move forward aligned to your heart desires and to get your own needs met.   • Speak In First Person: Practice speaking from your own personal experience, beginning with 'I', instead of saying 'you'. Example: Instead of saying, "When you went into the ocean, you could hear the whales," you would say, "When I went into the ocean, I could hear the whales." This draws energy back into yourself, creates more power in your speech and opens clarity in your body intelligence.

  • Organize & Release To Beautify: Let go of physical objects that are not supporting your joy. Declutter. Clean. Organize your home space (in and out). This moving of energy supports clearing and cleansing on all levels and welcomes the full moon Light to activate you and your loved ones.

  • Remember: Put out your gem stones and jewels in a window or in water for cleansing, renewal and activation.

  • Commune: Gather is an intentional way to share with loved ones. Do any of the above together and create your own. Now is a time to be with the energy of the collective.

Leo Full Moon Ritual

This potent ritual is offered in love to your Bright Soul! The intention of this ritual is to empower you in releasing anything that may be preventing you from living in the fullest expression of your Wild Sacred Feminine Essence and rise in the wisdom, beauty, and truth that you are. Blessings to you!

  • Build a fire and bask in the radiant flames. Let the heat penetrate your body. Let the colours into your eyes, empty yourself of thoughts and allow for the flames to guide you deep within. If you can't build a fire, then light some candles and bask in the full moon's light if possible.

  • Write down all the things in your life that you were told you couldn't do, or weren't allowed to do and all the beliefs that arose from that. Take your time with this.

  • Then Reflect on how this makes you feel, speak your feelings, write them down and allow your body to express these feelings.

  • Now investigate how this has affected your life and may still be affecting you. Again, take your time.

  • Then offer to the fire all the parts the beliefs that are not true, that you may have been living with. Honour them for their time with you and now they are no longer needed. Sacred. Deep. Release.

  • Dance Dance Dance! If with a fire, let the heat of the fire soften your body and move in ways that make you feel free and empowered. Dance your truth. Dance your heart and soul.

  • Speak aloud what you are capable of, and the truth of who you are! Speak your wisdom and what your passions are. You can start each sentence with “I Am....” and claim your truth. Run wild with this! When you feel complete (and maybe after many tears...) Repeat, "And so it is!" as many times as you like. This will anchor in and affirm your sacred truths.

  • Finally, write down these truths, so that you can refer back to it when you need reminded of your power.

  • Close with gratitude and long deep breathing. Or, continue in whatever way feels most resonant for you.

  • Remember: Put out your gemstones and jewels in a window or in water for cleansing, renewal and activation. Preferable in salted water (sensitive stones and jewels leave out the salt part).

  • Commune: Gather is an intentional way with loved ones and do the above ritual together if possible for extra potency and support. Now is a such a powerful time to be with the energy of the collective.

FULL CANCER MOTHER MOON

 Full Moon in Cancer is exact on December 26th at 4:33pm PST.

The Mother is our first teacher and She who is the Miracle of Life itself. In the sign of Cancer, this full moon mirrors the importance of 'Home', living in rhythm with Earth and 'Mothering' in the world with Feminine Leadership.

Having recently given offerings at the Holy Mother Temples of Auset / Isis in Aswan (both at the current Temple site & the original), the Temple of Het Hert / Hathor in Denderah, and Sekhmet's Sanctuary at the Temple of Karnak as a part of our December 2022 Egypt Priestess Pilgrimage, the frequency of Mother feel very much alive!

The Mother Moon of Cancer is the medicine that mirrors the importance of 'Home'. The home is our own body temple, our physical dwelling place, and feeling "at home" on this planet. She reflects the importance of honouring the sacred waters of your physical, intuitive, and emotional bodies. This can amplify the Light of your Leadership and also Illuminate the shadows that need clearing, healing and transforming.

This December Full Moon is known as the 'Wolf Moon' from Indigenous Tribes of North America, who gave names to each of the moons, in relation to their qualities connected to nature and the seasons. This particular moon was when the wolves would appear in the middle of winter, howling with hunger in villages.

Wolf Medicine, representing ‘Teacher’, great wisdom, wildness, and inner freedom is beckoning our attention. Maybe you are already feeling it in your bones and are ready to dance and howl! This Wolf Moon reminds us of the importance to express our heart's truth and our wildness, to live feeling free.

EPHIPANY

Epiphany comes from the Greek words epi (upon) and phainein (to show or reveal). It is the manifestation of the divine essence of Christ within the human being (whether enlivened or dormant), or the ascension of the christic solar logos energy through the spinal column of the initiate, as represented by the Magi.

“Who are the Magi? They represent the Initiates of the three preceding races or epochs of culture, the Initiates of mankind up to the time of the coming of Christ, the Bringer of the Love that is free of egoism — the resurrected Osiris. Thus the Three Kings or Magi are representatives of the Lemurians, the Atlanteans and the Aryans. They bring the three offerings.

The European (Melchior) brings gold, the symbol of wisdom, of intelligence which comes to expression paramountly in the Fifth Root Race. The offering of the Initiate representing the Fourth Root Race (Balthasar) is frankincense, connected with what was intrinsically characteristic of the Atlanteans. In the language of esotericism, myrrh is the symbol of dying, of death. What is the meaning of dying and of resurrection, as exemplified in the resurrected Osiris?

I refer you here to words of Goethe: ‘So long as thou hast it not, this dying and becoming, thou’rt but a dull guest on the dark earth.’ Jacob Boehme expresses the same thought in the words: “He who dies not ere he dies, perishes when he dies.” Myrrh is the symbol of the dying of the lower life and the resurrection of the higher life. It is offered by the Initiate representing the Third Root Race (Lemurian).

By what are the Three Holy Kings guided, and whither are they led? They are guided by a Star to a grotto, a cave in Bethlehem. This is something that can be understood only by one who has knowledge of the so-called lower, or astral mysteries. To be led by a Star means nothing else than to see the soul itself as a Star. But when is the soul seen as a Star?

When a man can behold the soul as a radiant aura. But what kind of aura is so radiant that it can be a guide?

There is the aura that glimmers with only a feeble light; such an aura cannot guide. There is a higher aura, that of the intelligence, which has, it is true, a flowing, up-surging light, but is not yet able to guide. But the bright aura, aglow with Budhi, is in very truth a Star, is a radiant guide. In Christ, the Star of Budhi lights up — the Star which accompanies the evolution of mankind. The Light that shines before the Magi is the soul of Christ Himself. The Second Logos Himself shines before the Magi and over the cave in Bethlehem.”

Powerfully, the Gnostic tradition of Epiphany is also a Feminine Holy Day. 

St. Clement of Alexandria (c. 194) shares that the followers of the Gnostic master Basilides feasted on this day of the Baptism and kept a long vigil beforehand.

Alexandrian Gnostics celebrated the Epiphany in the sanctuary of the Maiden Goddess Kore whom they equated as the Holy Virgin. At midnight they descended with torches into the crypt of the temple and brought the wooden statue of Kore forth in procession. 

The Kore Maiden, also known as Persephone, was represented naked and sitting, with crosses marked on her brow, her hands and her knees. The statue was carried seven times around the central shrine and was then returned back to the crypt once more. 

Gnostics said that on this day, Kore, the Virgin, gave birth to the divine principle known as the Christ. It is from the feminine consciousness of intuitive and a feeling nature that the messianic power, of individuated consciousness is thus born. 

Thus the human nature of Yeshua / Jesus or anyone is transformed into divine and spiritual nature by the holy female power, the Holy Spirit, in the initiation rite of baptism, immersion in the Holy Waters of Light.

Dragon Full Moon in Gemini

Today, December 7th, Venus is conjunct The Galactic Center at 4:13pm PST and the Gemini Dragon Full Moon is exact at 8:08pm PST.

The final full moon of 2022 in Gemini is the first full moon after the recent eclipses that carries new codes of cosmic communication and revelation and connects to Dragon Goddess Tiamat. With Venus crossing the Galactic Center, abundant frequencies of Love are being birthed from the Cosmic Womb.

This Full Moon, governed by the element of Air, illuminates both shadow and light and calls for us to integrate both. This is simultaneously a descent into your innermost chambers to release the past and a rise in celebration for all the blessings and lessons of the past year. This paradox is a Gemini moon code revealing opportunities for multi-faceted communication cosmically, internally, relationally, emotionally and spiritually that can offer personal transformation and healing in our collective consciousness.

The 'Cold Moon' traditionally refers to the December Moon, as was tracked by Native American cultures. Some tribes called it Long Nights Moon, referring to the longer nights before Solstice.

  • Share: Write a letter or make a phone call to a person that you need to communicate with in to feel complete. Express your truth with heart and sincerity.

  • Stand in your Illuminated Vision: Let your visions come to life! Go deeper from the above ritual. With the space created from what you released, it's now time to get creative with making a 'vision board' of your medium (whether visually with a painting or drawings or dance or write in your journal) and express your truth, dreams and visions, and all that you wish to bring more attention and energy to for yourself and for the planet. Place this out into the moonlight/speak it/sing it during the full moon window.

  • Gem Stone Reminder: Put out your gem stones and jewels in a window or in water for cleansing, renewal, and activation. Place an apple and glass of water in the moonlight and have it for a 'Moon Wisdom' breakfast the next morning.

  • Commune: Gather in an intentional way with loved ones and do any of the above together and create your own. Now can be a powerful time to be with the energy of the collective.

Full Moon Eclipse in Taurus

 
 

Blessings to you for Solar Samhain on Monday November 7th at 2:45pm PST and the Taurus Blood Moon on Tuesday, November 8th at 3:02am PST with the Total Lunar Eclipse at 2:59am PST.

As we complete the Samhain portal to initiate a new wheel of the year, this is a powerful time for prayer, forgiveness, celebration, self-love, sensuality and grounded connection.

This Venus ruled Taurus moon activates our earthy, sensual nature. With the total lunar eclipse happening, you will be supported through this great transition by giving yourself exquisite self-care, honouring your feelings and body temple, and connecting with our Mother Earth.

The Taurus Blood Moon will eclipse the light of the Scorpio Sun to reveal our deepest feelings and sacred desires related to pleasure, connection, and freedom within the body. It can bring up where you limit these essential parts of your life so you can reflect on making new choices for your life that support your Liberation and Empowerment.

You may feel an urge to sing and dance to release or rejoice, or both. You may feel the urge make love or to sob, or both. Whatever your truth is, express your feelings with your body. When you allow your feelings to flow through you, you can activate healing and transformation within.

During this time of Solar Samhain and the the total lunar eclipse, allow for any sadness, grief, anger, or fear to have their holy moment of being acknowledged and felt. Solar Samhain & Full Moon Eclipse Rituals

  • Eclipsing Earth Connection: Stand or walk on the earth with bare feet. Imagine roots growing down from your feet and/or your womb space to the womb of Mother Gaia. Feel this as an anchoring pillar of light connecting you to the Earth and welcome in the magick of the Moon descending down from above moving through you, as you continue to send the energy deep into the earth to ground you, release stagnant or pent up emotional energy and have you feeling supported and nourished for rebirth.

  • Take Off The Mask:  Feel into any ways that you may be inauthentic with yourself and any masks that you may be wearing that aren't serving the essence of who you are. Draw or paint these out or write them down and then lay to rest any of the false faces that you may be wearing. In this way, the more you peel away the masks that aren't you, the more you can rise into the truth of who you are, right now, and emerge more fully as your radiant self.

  • Honour Your Ancestors:  Write down all the things you are grateful for about your lineage. The gifts you have received. The lessons you have learned. Perhaps you may wish to create an altar for your ancestors. In your unique way, create the space to offer gratitude to those that came before you and acknowledge them for the wisdom that now flows through you. They love it if you make something delicious and offer it to them!

  • Fire Release Ritual:  You may also wish to connect with the parts of your lineage that may be less than joy filled. If you desire, you can get in touch with the part of you that feels feels angry, sad, frustrated and confused about what your blood line or lineage has passed down to you and offer this into the fires of transmutation (by literally building a fire or safely using a candle). You can write these down or say them out loud, or both. Then, move your body and make any desired sounds to finalize the release. When complete, you can offer any authentic words of forgiveness, empathy and realizations.

  • Empty The Mind. Feel Into Your Dreams:  Give yourself the gift of moving from your head to your heart. It's an auspicious time to FEEL your dreams. Your goals. Your desires. Scorpio is all about feeling. Bring any visuals or ideas about what you'd like to experience for your life into the visceral experience of your body. In this way, you are sending out messages to the universe to magnify these experiences into your life. Take some time to literally experience how your desires and dreams FEEL in your body. This is truly the magick of creating your life.

  • Dream Illumination & Sacred Release Journal: What dreams is your soul illuminating for you at this time? What sacred desires are being called into the light? What visions do you have for yourself? How can you clarify and amplify your dreams? Why are they meaningful and full of purpose? What is between you and your dreams? What is stopping you from living them (focusing on your own patterns, thought forms, behaviors, beliefs)? Burn this paper now for sacred release in a fire or with candles outside in the full moon light. Dance / speak/ move/ sound it out.  After the moon has eclipsed (and you feel more space within you), write down and speak aloud how you now choose to commit and devote yourself to your dreams. How you can take action, receive support and rest into the divine timing of these dreams.

  • Burn it: Write a list of the thoughts that are happening inside your head that you are ready to shift. Beliefs, stories, habits, all that you wish to leave behind while we are in the Dark time of the year, illuminated by the full moon. What are you letting go of? Free it up. Give it voice. Let it out. Let it go and burn it (safely) with a candle or campfire or fireplace. Then proceed to ritual below.
