Cancer is the mother, who is our first teacher and she who is the Miracle of Life itself. In the sign of Cancer, this full moon mirrors the importance of 'home', living in rhythm with Earth and 'Mothering' in the world with Feminine Leadership.
Home is our own body temple, our physical dwelling place, and feeling "at home" on this planet. She reflects the importance of honouring the sacred waters of your physical, intuitive, and emotional bodies. This can amplify the Light of your Leadership and also Illuminate the shadows that need clearing, healing, or transforming.
This can be a time that surfaces emotions from childhood memories, family dynamics or ancestral healing. It’s a potent time to release emotional patterns that no longer support your expansion of self and to embrace vulnerability as a strength.
The Cancer Moon highlights the balance between giving and receiving. Cancer reminds us to honor the tender and emotional aspects of life that often serve as the foundation for growth and stability.
This Full Moon is known as the 'Wolf Moon' from Indigenous Tribes of North America, who gave names to each of the moons, in relation to their qualities connected to nature and the seasons. This particular moon was when the wolves would appear in the middle of winter, howling with hunger in villages.

Honouring 2025: What do you celebrate and honour about yourself from the past year? Whether this related to your personal/business/love live. What were your greatest lessons and how can it serve you now?
Releasing 2025: What are you laying to rest from 2025? What is ready to be burned or buried? If needed, let yourself release the emotions of 2025 with all the feels. Whether this is a cry, scream or sigh. For reals. Emotional Cancer supports us to release held emotions in the body. This is a healthy way to cleanse the emotional body and opens us up to the next level of deep wisdom to move through us.
Creating 2026 with Moon Magick: Create an altar representing all you are calling forth for 2025 and/or place a 'Wishing Bowl' with your written or creatively drawn themes under the Moon and Sirian light to be amplified. Key: Focus on how you wish to feel along with any specific things you desire to come to fruition. Place an apple (or any other fruit) or water beside it and ingest it the next morning to assimilate the Magick into your Being. Then at the New Moon, you can activate any specific intentions, resolutions and/or devotional commitments.
Remember: Put out your gemstones and jewels in a window or in water for cleansing, renewal, and activation.
Commune: Gather is an intentional way with loved ones and do any of the above together and create your own. Now is a time to be with the energy of the collective.
