This Full Moon in Sagittarius takes place on May 26th at 4:14 am PDT and the total lunar eclipse is at 4:18 am PDT. The duration is 14 minutes. It will be visible from Southeast Asia, Australia, the Pacific and the Americas.
This Sagittarius Super Blood Moon eclipse is a significant transition for the collective. Dreams, aspirations, intentions and goals that have been built on a foundation of falsity or distortion are dissolving. This may feel intense. And, it is. This is a purification portal. This great eclipse of the moon, caused by the Earth’s shadow, is here to catalyze an illumination and then a release of all the ways we have governed our lives from a place of fear or restriction to initiate a new foundation rooted in trust, wisdom, freedom and love.
The Full Moon is also conjunct Antares.
Antares is a Magickal Behenian Star and 1 of the 4 Royal Stars linked to Archangel Uriel, to Auset / Isis & Selket. This Heart Star brings a harmonious lunar conjunction, assisting us to create powerful Magick & make important choices. Antares is the energy of the sacred pause & spaciousness before choice. And with Sagittarius Moon, this means aligning with your truth & visions to make your dreams come true.
The flames of the Sagittarius moon invite us deeper into Presence to explore important paths/options/choices from our bodies intuitive guidance, rather than solely from the logical mind.
Let the full moon’s luminosity and eclipsing shadow penetrate into your being to deconstruct what achievement, leadership, power and mastery have meant to you, so you redefine this for yourself. It is time to break the chains of comparison, status, competition, power-over / powerlessness by illuminating the emotions and beliefs hiding in the dark (either from society or family). These shadows are ready to be acknowledged and released by feeling them and moving them. During this Moon, allow for any sadness, grief, anger, or fear to have their holy moment of being acknowledged and felt. Any distorted beliefs that have been leading your life are being revealed and dissolved. Honour and thank them for how they have served you and with power of your sovereign choice, let them go!
On the other side of the shadow is liberation! Through this deep excavation of your being, you are creating space for a potent rebirth of love and true mastery for your life and for the benefit All. This eclipse will guide you into the direction of living your dreams and devotions in these unprecedented times as the change agent you are and are becoming! Through the eclipsing of shadow and light, know that you are supported and blessed.
Ritual Suggestions
Eclipsing Earth & Fire Connection: Stand or walk on the earth with bare feet. Imagine roots growing down from your feet and/or your womb space to the womb of Mother Gaia. Feel this as an anchoring pillar of light connecting you to the Earth and welcome in the magick of the Moon, the Sun descending down from above moving through you, as you continue to send the energy deep into the earth to ground you, releasing stagnant or pent up emotional energy. Light a fire to transmute fears and limitations. What you are releasing? Speak it out loud, make sounds, move the energy through your body. This letting go creates space for rebirth.
Gratitude Speak: Speak aloud to the Full Moon, or write in your journal 11 things you are grateful for. If writing, place in the moonlight overnight. This practice brings to light more experiences for you to be grateful for.
Dream Illumination & Sacred Release Journal: What dreams is your soul illuminating for you at this time? What sacred desires are being called into the light? What visions do you have for yourself? How can you clarify and amplify your dreams? Why are they meaningful and full of purpose? What is between you and your dreams? What is stopping you from living them (focusing on your own patterns, thought forms, behaviors, beliefs)? Burn this paper now for sacred release in a fire or with candles outside in the full moon light. Dance / speak/ move/ sound it out. After the moon has eclipsed (and you feel more space within you), write down and speak aloud how you now choose to commit and devote yourself to your dreams. How you can take action, receive support and rest into the divine timing of these dreams.
Devotional Dreams: How does your heart want to be expressed/nurtured at this time with the dreams you hold dear and close to your heart? What embodiment practices inspire you right now? Activities that bring you out of your mind and into your body are where it's at when done with the intention of celebrating and honouring yourself and your growing dreams. Trying doing them in the moonlight.
Elemental Nourishment: Sag Moon is an ideal time for you to get in the Natural World and the Elements. Visit your favorite tree, park, river, ocean or lake etc... Let the wild and sacred medicine of nature seep into your body and your breath. Let the mind go and rest into Earth and practice the art of spaciousness by simply Being.
Commune: Gather in an intentional way with loved ones and do any of the above together and create your own. Now can be a powerful time to be with the energy of the collective.
